ICSS/Instrument Lead

Role Overview

This is an urgent position based in Brazil / China / UAE, working with Leading FPSO Operator (Africa & Americas). The role requires expertise in ICSS, DCS, SIS, F&G System, SCADA, FPSO Control Systems. Full job description is available upon request.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage FPSO project execution from engineering through to completion
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including process, structural, marine and E&I
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes and regulatory requirements
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Review and approve technical deliverables including drawings, specifications and procedures
• Liaise with client representatives and third-party inspectors
• Monitor project progress against schedule and budget targets
• Prepare and present technical reports and project status updates
• Design and configure Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) including DCS, SIS and F&G systems
• Design and configure Distributed Control Systems for process monitoring and automation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in FPSO/offshore projects
• Strong knowledge of offshore codes and standards (API, DNV, ABS)
• Proven track record in engineering phase of FPSO projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in multicultural project teams
• Available for immediate mobilization
