Subsea Installation Analysis Engineer

Role Overview

Subsea installation analysis for offshore oil and gas projects covering rigid risers, umbilicals, jumpers, and subsea structures using Orcaflex-based dynamic and quasistatic analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Quasistatic and dynamic installation analysis including pull-in, splash zone deployment, lift-off, subsea lowering and landing
• Riser jumper umbilical installation analysis per DNV-ST-N001 and DNV-RP-N103
• Vessel modeling from RAO data
• Operable sea state determination
• QA QC review and FEED tender support
• Offshore support and documentation management
• MTech or PhD in Ocean Engineering or related
• 3+ years subsea installation analysis experience
• Expert in Orcaflex dynamic and quasistatic
• Proficiency in DNV-ST-N001 and DNV-RP-N103
• Python automation skills preferred
• CFD WAMIT hydrodynamics experience a plus

Requirements

• MTech or PhD in Ocean Engineering or related
• 3+ years subsea installation analysis experience
• Expert in Orcaflex dynamic and quasistatic
• Proficiency in DNV-ST-N001 and DNV-RP-N103
• Python automation skills preferred
• CFD WAMIT hydrodynamics experience a plus
