Offshore Piping Design Engineer

A leading international EPC contractor is seeking an Offshore Piping Design Engineer to deliver detailed design of offshore and FPSO process, utility, and fire-fighting piping systems across the APAC region.You will complete 3D piping modeling, P&ID interpretation, isometric drawing preparation, BOM compilation, and design review. Cooperating with process and construction teams, you will optimize piping layout while ensuring compliance with ASME B31.3, API, and DNV standards.This role offers strong project exposure and professional growth in offshore piping engineering.

• Detailed design of offshore/FPSO process, utility, and fire-fighting piping systems, including layout, stress analysis, material selection, and support design
• Complete 3D piping modeling, P&ID interpretation, isometric drawing preparation, and BOM compilation
• Cooperate with process and construction teams to optimize piping layout
• Solve on-site installation and construction problems
• Conduct piping stress verification using Caesar II or equivalent
• Comply with ASME B31.3, API, DNV piping design codes
• Participate in design reviews and HAZOP sessions

• Proficient in 3D design software: PDMS/E3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D; skilled in Caesar II for piping stress analysis
• Experience in offshore/FPSO piping design, familiar with process piping standards and installation requirements
• Ability to read P&ID, conduct piping layout optimization, and stress verification
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or related
• 4+ years of offshore piping design experience in oil and gas projects
• Fluent English communication and document writing skills

• Experience with FPSO topside piping design for process and utility systems
• Familiarity with ASME B31.3, API 570, and piping material selection (B16, B36 series)
• Knowledge of piping stress analysis and flexibility design
• Experience with offshore hazardous area and fire-fighting system design
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional qualification

• Competitive daily rate: USD 280 – 400 per day (commensurate with experience)
