We are hiring a Process Lead for an international FPSO operator, responsible for managing process engineering activities across the project lifecycle. Based in the Brazil Campos Basin, with assignments at FPSO conversion yards in Dalian (COSCO) and WHP fabrication in Dubai, you will ensure process design integrity and operational readiness.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Lead the process engineering team in developing and reviewing P&IDs, PFDs, and process datasheets.
Oversee process simulations and optimization studies for topsides and subsea systems.
Coordinate with discipline leads to ensure integration of process systems with mechanical, piping, and E&I designs.
Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, and SIL studies, and implement recommendations.
Manage process deliverables for FEED, detailed design, and commissioning support.
Interface with client, vendors, and classification societies (e.g., DNV, ABS) for technical approvals.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
✅ Core Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
10+ years of experience in offshore oil & gas, with a focus on FPSO topsides process design.
Proficiency in HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar simulation tools.
Strong knowledge of hydrocarbon processing, separation, and gas treatment.
Experience with safety studies (HAZOP, SIL, and QRA).
Familiarity with international codes (API, ASME, ISO, and NORSOK).
Excellent communication and team management skills.

Experience with FPSO conversion projects and Brazilian regulatory standards.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
