A major international EPC contractor is seeking a skilled Subsea Engineer to provide technical expertise for their SURF (Steel Catenary Riser, Umbilicals, Risers, Flowlines) and deepwater field development projects. As a Subsea Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle—from early FEED studies through detailed design, fabrication, and installation phases. You will work closely with project teams, client representatives, and subsea equipment suppliers to ensure engineering solutions meet technical specifications, comply with industry standards, and are delivered on schedule and within budget. 🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Provide subsea engineering support for SURF system design including flowlines, risers, umbilicals, and subsea structures
• Develop and review technical specifications, engineering calculations, and design documentation for subsea hardware
• Coordinate with subsea equipment manufacturers (Trees, manifolds, umbilicals, jumpers) on technical requirements
• Perform and verify subsea system analysis including hydrates, flow assurance, and multiphase flow simulations
• Support installation engineering activities including vessel selection, lay analysis, and offshore campaign planning
• Interface with client technical teams, verification bodies, and regulatory authorities as required
• Participate in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP sessions, and risk assessment workshops
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of engineering standards and best practices

✅ Core Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of subsea engineering experience in offshore oil and gas projects
• Strong technical background in SURF systems, subsea production systems (SPS), or pipeline engineering
• Proficiency with subsea design software (AutoCAD, SmartPlant, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with DNV, API, and ISO standards for subsea equipment and systems
• Experience with both FEED and detailed design phases of subsea projects
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
• Working knowledge of subsea construction and installation methods
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to work under pressure

💡 Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with deepwater (>1,500m water depth) or ultra-deepwater projects
• Familiarity with subsea processing technologies and boosting systems
• Knowledge of diverless intervention (DHV/DDV) and ROV-compatible design
• Experience with TechnipFMC, Baker Hughes, or Subsea 7 project delivery
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional qualification
