Subsea Mooring Engineer

A leading international EPC contractor is seeking a Subsea Mooring Engineer to design and deliver subsea infrastructure for deepwater projects across the Asia-Pacific region. You will be responsible for engineering deliverables from concept through detailed design and installation support.Working closely with multi-discipline teams, you will ensure technical excellence while meeting project schedules and budget targets. • Execute engineering design activities in accordance with project specifications and international codes
• Prepare technical calculations, design drawings, and engineering documentation
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to ensure design integration and constructability
• Interface with vendors, clients, and third-party reviewers as required
• Support installation and commissioning activities with technical guidance
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent)
• 5-10+ years of experience in subsea engineering for offshore oil and gas projects
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (ANSYS, SACS, OrcaFlex, AutoCAD)
• Strong understanding of subsea system architecture and component interfaces
• Experience with API, DNV, and NORSOK standards for subsea applications
• Ability to work effectively in multi-cultural project teams
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills

• Experience with deepwater subsea systems (>1500m water depth)
• Knowledge of TechnipFMC, Baker Hughes, or Aker Solutions product lines
• Familiarity with subsea processing and boosting technologies
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional qualification

• Competitive USD 250 – 450 per day
