Subsea Project Engineer

Prestigious offshore energy company requires an experienced Subsea Project Engineer for challenging deepwater field developments. This role involves full lifecycle engineering support from FEED through commissioning, with a focus on safe and efficient project delivery.You will apply your technical expertise to complex subsea challenges, prepare detailed engineering analyses, and interface with equipment suppliers and installation contractors. • Execute engineering design activities in accordance with project specifications and international codes
• Prepare technical calculations, design drawings, and engineering documentation
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to ensure design integration and constructability
• Interface with vendors, clients, and third-party reviewers as required
• Support installation and commissioning activities with technical guidance
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent)
• 4-8+ years of experience in subsea engineering for offshore oil and gas projects
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (ANSYS, SACS, OrcaFlex, AutoCAD)
• Strong understanding of subsea system architecture and component interfaces
• Experience with API, DNV, and NORSOK standards for subsea applications
• Ability to work effectively in multi-cultural project teams
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills

• Experience in Malaysia, Brazil, or North Sea subsea projects
• Experience with deepwater subsea systems (>1500m water depth)
• Familiarity with subsea processing and boosting technologies
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional qualification
