Subsea Riser Design Engineer

Prestigious offshore energy company requires an experienced Subsea Riser Design Engineer for challenging deepwater field developments. This role involves full lifecycle engineering support from FEED through commissioning, with a focus on safe and efficient project delivery.You will apply your technical expertise to complex subsea challenges, prepare detailed engineering analyses, and interface with equipment suppliers and installation contractors. • Execute engineering design activities in accordance with project specifications and international codes
• Prepare technical calculations, design drawings, and engineering documentation
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to ensure design integration and constructability
• Interface with vendors, clients, and third-party reviewers as required
• Support installation and commissioning activities with technical guidance
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent)
• 5-10+ years of experience in subsea engineering for offshore oil and gas projects
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (ANSYS, SACS, OrcaFlex, AutoCAD)
• Strong understanding of subsea system architecture and component interfaces
• Experience with API, DNV, and NORSOK standards for subsea applications
• Ability to work effectively in multi-cultural project teams
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills

• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional qualification
• Familiarity with subsea processing and boosting technologies
• Experience in Malaysia, Brazil, or North Sea subsea projects
• Knowledge of TechnipFMC, Baker Hughes, or Aker Solutions product lines

• Competitive USD 250 – 450 per day
